Arriving in Sao Paulo

Well, we're here! We arrived in Sao Paulo on time at 1:20pm local time; Sao Paulo is 4 hours ahead of Pacific Daylight time, so it felt like morning to us. The flight was good overall, but we did hit some fairly strong turbulence as we entered South America and were going over the costal mountain range in Columbia. This was Aaron Hatcher's first flight and Lauren Bowen's longest flight....they both did great!

All of our luggage arrived and we made it thru customs without a hitchb. Gabriel from the Bauru Vineyard was waiting for us with our bus driver and then Renato and his Dad and sister were also there (we met Renato at Thanksgiving last year when a friend (hristina Malkhassian) brought him over; he was working at Disneyland on an exchange program. He then moved in with Beau and Jean for a few months and has become family to us! We had a huge lunch with everyone and know we're on our way to Piratininga.

We are all safe, well fed and have been loved on by our Brazilian family, but all very tired. Pray for our health and stamina as we get ready for ministry tomorrow afternoon and evening in Bauru.

Blessings to all of you!
